Rati Mujiri was born in 1984 in Tbilisi, Georgia. He was a military journalist for 10 years. He graduated from Tbilisi State University, department of journalism and started working for Georgia’s Main Broadcaster; he used to cover red regional and worldwide conflicts in Georgia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt, Kyrgistan and Ukraine in the years of 2006-2014. Currently he works at Grigol Robakidze State University and teaches conflict reporting.
